Yosakoi is a vibrant and energetic form of dance that originated in Kochi, Japan. It blends elements of traditional Japanese folk songs and dance with modern music and movement trends from all over the world.
Tatsumaki Yosakoi was one of the first yosakoi teams in the United States. We have delighted audiences with our high energy performances and Japanese cultural exchanges since 2005.
We have groups in Manhattan, KS and Kansas City, MO and perform throughout our local region, at national events, and some of our members even perform overseas in Japan.
